Based on the Japanese government’s announcement that the state of emergency is extended until May 31st, Kyoto Semiconductor has decided to continue the working-from-home system for employees until the same date.

News2020-04-20 [Information] Start of the working-from-home system for employees in Hokkaido

As the Japanese government extended the state of emergency to all the prefectures in Japan, Kyoto Semiconductor extended the measures against COVID-19 to the employees in Hokkaido in an effort to prioritize the safety and the well-being of our employees.

Although our teams are strongly committed to minimize the impact of this, there could be a possibility of delay in development schedules or optimization in manufacturing capacity depending on the situation. News2020-04-08 [Information] Start of the working-from-home for employees

Based on the Japanese government’s guidance, we have implemented the working-from-home system for employees of our Tokyo Headquarters, Tokyo Sales Team, Kyoto Headquarters, and Kansai Sales Team from April 8th, 2020. During the time, our Tokyo and Kyoto offices are run with the minimum number of employees. Our Eniwa Operation and Kamisunagawa Operation are open as usual. We are continuously reviewing the measures against COVID-19 as the situation is evolving.

News2020-04-03 Information] An Update on Our Actions against COVID-19

During the evolving coronavirus situation, the safety and well-being of our customers, partners, and employees continue to be our priority while we have been diligently working to ensure the business continuity. In addition to our measures against this situation announced on March 27th, 2020, we are considering the implementation of the working-from-home system to the employees of our Tokyo Headquarters and Tokyo Sales Team as one of the actions tackling the situation.

We will give you an update accordingly as we carefully monitor the situation and consider the safety of the stakeholders and continuity of the business as our top priorities.

News2020-03-27 Our Action against Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As regards the infection prevalence, we are taking the following measures to mitigate the infection risk in order to protect our employees and clients, stakeholders from the virus.

・Frequent wash hands and gargle throat thoroughly with a sanitizer and clean flowing water.
・Encourage our visitors to sanitize their hands with an equipped sanitizer.
・Allow staggered working hours to mitigate the infection risk by avoiding rush hour commuting by public transportations.
